Habeeb was one of my first models years ago and he is a friend who now lives in Atlanta so every time I’m there we always talk about photography and sometimes even make pictures. This time we walked along Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta and the weather was freezing. I took this picture just while Habeeb was telling a joke and at the same time the wind was so cold that we could barely stay in the street without walking fast to warm up. So the picture was taken very quickly which gives it a very spontaneous and candid feel.

Chris was visiting Paris just a few days and contacted me on Modelmayhem. His portfolio was amazing and he seemed to have some interesting ideas for our shoot so we agreed on a TFP. Here is one of the pictures - please see the Jan.C Photography main website for more.

I recently came back to the series I shot with Bak in March and realized some of the photos we made and that I initially put aside were still worth showing. This is one of them - a beautiful pose marked with gravity, quite different from the rest of the series where most pictures were rather joyful and fun.
